About the position

The Military Star Ambassador for Credit Card Assistance is responsible for promoting and selling the Military Star Card while providing exceptional customer service. This role involves engaging with customers during various events and promotions, ensuring a positive shopping experience, and assisting with credit card inquiries and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell the Military Star Card.
• Attend events and promotions such as Beauty Bar, Shoes, or Electronic Sales.
• Engage with customers at table events and promotions in the main store, Class 6, and Triangle Mini Mall.
• Drive customer experience through proactive and customer-focused behaviors.
• Evaluate customer needs by listening and providing solutions to maximize satisfaction.
• Greet every customer with eye contact and a smile.
• Acknowledge waiting customers promptly.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers in conversation.
• Follow proper procedures for bagging merchandise and handling large or heavy items.

Requirements

• Completion of high school or equivalent education.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Ability to think quickly to answer customer questions.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to cross-train and work in other areas of the store.
