About the position
The Mainframe Developer position focuses on managing and supporting ACH processing platforms, specifically utilizing Fiserv PEP+. The role requires a strong technical background in mainframe technologies, including CICS, Cobol, and DB2, along with experience in ACH file handling and integration with third-party solutions. This is an onsite contract opportunity based in Cincinnati, OH.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support ACH processing platforms, specifically Fiserv PEP+.
- Integrate third-party sanctions solutions with ACH transactions.
- Handle ACH NACHA file processing and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance platform performance and reliability.
- Utilize CICS, Cobol, and DB2 for application development and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing and supporting ACH processing platforms.
- Proficiency in CICS, Cobol, and DB2.
- Strong understanding of ACH NACHA file handling and integration with third-party solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Fiserv's PEP+ application.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
