We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with expertise in IMS DB and cloud technologies to join our team in Wilmington, DE. This long-term position requires a hands-on approach to system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in coding with one or more programming languages and will be adept at developing, debugging, and maintaining code within a large corporate environment. A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is essential, along with familiarity with agile methodologies, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), application resiliency, and security practices. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with IBM-Z/OS COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, VSAM, JCL, CA7, and Changeman/Endeavor Mainframe application development tools. Additionally, experience with IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solutions is required. The ability to create APIs using z/OS Connect and Kafka integration is a valuable asset. Knowledge and work experience with AWS cloud services will also be considered a plus, as we aim to integrate modern cloud solutions into our existing systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical banking applications, and familiarity with the banking domain and credit card processing will be advantageous. Candidates with exposure to modern front-end technologies and Java will also be preferred, as we look to enhance our application capabilities.
