The Mainframe IMS DB position at eNcloud Services involves hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability. The candidate will work with various mainframe technologies and methodologies, contributing to the software development life cycle and agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using Mainframe technologies.
• Test and ensure operational stability of applications.
• Debug and maintain code in a corporate environment.
• Implement agile methodologies such as CI/CD and application resiliency.
• Create APIs using zO/S connect and Kafka integration.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in system design and application development.
• Proficient in coding in one or more programming languages.
• Experience in debugging and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Hands-on experience in IBM-Z/OS COBOL, CICS, IMS DB/DC, DB2, VSAM, JCL, CA7, Changeman/Endeavor.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solution.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
• Knowledge of the banking domain and credit card processing.
• Exposure to cloud technologies.
• Exposure to JAVA.
