About the position
The Maintenance Technician position is designed for individuals of all skill levels, offering training and mentorship for those who are new to the field. The role involves maintaining and supporting the operation of food manufacturing and packaging equipment in a clean environment. The company is looking for candidates who are eager to start or advance their maintenance careers, with opportunities for growth as the company expands.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support the operation of food manufacturing process and packaging equipment.
- Work with pneumatic systems, electrical systems (120v, 24v, and 480 3 phase), and mechanical components.
- Handle plumbing and steam systems as needed.
- Address any and all building maintenance needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2-4 years of maintenance experience
- Electrical experience (120 single phase/480 3 phase)
- Mechanical experience
- Plumbing experience
- Hydraulic/pneumatics experience
- PLC/Motor control experience is a plus.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of Boilers/Steam and HVAC is a plus
- Stainless welding experience is a plus.
