About the position
The Maintenance and Reliability Leader at Georgia-Pacific's Savannah River Mill is a strategic role focused on developing exceptional leaders and enhancing facility performance. This position is integral to the plant leadership team, responsible for fostering key business relationships, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring safe work practices while managing maintenance expenditures and organizational development plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop key business relationships and be a strategic part of the plant leadership team
- Help teams improve by developing plans to close performance gaps
- Be accountable for employee and organizational development plans and people management strategies
- Practice stewardship through effective financial planning for maintenance expenditures and capital improvements
- Partner with plant leadership to enhance facility performance and metrics
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure safe work practices and uphold compliance standards
Requirements
- Proven experience leading successful maintenance or reliability teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience leading improvement efforts in reliability, predictive, or preventative maintenance
- Willing and able to relocate for future growth opportunities in the next 1-3 years
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's degree or higher
