About The Position

The Maintenance Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Environmental Services Department by assisting in the management of daily operations and performing various maintenance tasks. This full-time position requires a proactive approach to ensure the upkeep of the facility, contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for residents and staff alike.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma is preferred.
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the management of the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services Department.
• Performs general maintenance duties such as painting, basic plumbing and electrical repairs, and carpet cleaning as assigned.
• Assists in the maintenance of the Environmental Services Log and completes all work orders in a timely fashion.
• Works in a motor vehicle as required or assigned.
• Moves intermittently during working hours, including standing, walking, sitting, pulling, lifting, reaching, carrying, pushing, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and twisting.
