About the position

The Maintenance Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Maintenance Director in executing the preventative maintenance program and ensuring the overall upkeep of the facility. This position involves performing general repairs and maintenance tasks to maintain a safe and functional environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general repairs and upkeep of the facility.
• Support the preventative maintenance program.
• Ensure compliance with Life Safety regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Director.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience in maintenance, HVAC, general contracting, or electrical work is desirable.

Nice-to-haves

• Relevant coursework in maintenance or related fields is desirable.
