About the position
The Maintenance Associate is primarily responsible for the cultivation and care of the grounds and yard surrounding the facility. This role involves performing landscaping duties and minor facility maintenance while ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure grounds/yard surrounding facility are well maintained
- Perform landscaping duties such as mowing, planting, weeding, fertilizing, and pruning to ensure plants, shrubs, and trees remain healthy
- Perform minor facility exterior maintenance such as sweeping/clearing sidewalks, painting, lightbulb replacement, and other minor structural repairs
- Assist others when requested in the repair and maintenance of grounds and facility
- Work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Previous experience in landscaping is a plus
- Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shift hours
- Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character
