About the position

The Maintenance Coordinator at ResiHome plays a crucial role in property management by evaluating vendor proposals, ensuring timely property preservation actions, and maintaining communication with city officials to resolve violations. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to manage property maintenance and compliance efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and negotiate proposal requests submitted by vendors for investor client submission.
  • Monitor properties to ensure timely property preservation actions are completed to avoid deterioration and code violations.
  • Collaborate with various business partners and external vendors to address property preservation needs.
  • Handle routine transactions with oversight from senior staff and managers to complete daily tasks.
  • Implement strategies to ensure property vacancy is managed and preservation work is completed as needed.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Client Statement of Work (SOW) and ResiHome policies.
  • Review notices of violations and escalate for resolutions.
  • Monitor property pipeline and proactively manage aged work orders to prevent potential violations.
  • Communicate constantly with the city to resolve open violations.
  • Work in the field as needed.

Requirements

  • High analytical skills and experience in making payments to governmental entities.
  • Great attention to detail and ability to navigate Excel systems.
  • Ability to pivot quickly from one project to another.
  • Comfortable communicating with city officials.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with courtesy, persuasion, and tact.
  • Responsible handling of confidential matters.
  • Ability to evaluate situations and make accurate decisions.
