About the position
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing maintenance and custodial staff, ensuring that all maintenance issues are addressed efficiently. This role involves direct supervision, scheduling, and motivating staff while utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to prioritize tasks. The coordinator will also forecast and estimate future maintenance needs as part of a preventative maintenance program.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee maintenance and custodial staff.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for task management.
- Forecast and estimate future maintenance needs.
- Motivate and schedule operations staff based on priority duties.
- Address and repair maintenance issues across various skilled trades.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in maintenance or custodial roles.
- Valid driver's license with a record that meets agency standards.
