About the position

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing maintenance activities and coordinating repair efforts to ensure the smooth operation of facilities. This full-time role requires strong leadership skills and mechanical knowledge, with a focus on managing maintenance tasks effectively using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
  • Manage the CMMS to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
  • Collaborate with project management teams on facility improvement projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including reports on completed work.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on best practices in maintenance management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a maintenance management role or similar position.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams.
  • Proficient in project management principles related to facility maintenance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
