About the position

The Maintenance/Custodian position at Holly Academy is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff. This role involves daily cleaning tasks, basic repairs, and assisting the Facilities Director in ensuring the school facilities are well-kept and secure.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum and clean assigned classrooms daily and dust all furniture
• Mop and disinfect bathrooms and sanitary fixtures
• Empty all trash cans daily, clean lobbies, lounges, offices, and gym
• Move furniture and equipment as required for various activities
• Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and use various tools and equipment necessary to complete required tasks

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent training or GED
• Proficiency in cleaning and in basic repairs
• Minimum of two years' experience or on-the-job training

Nice-to-haves

• Custodial Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
