About the position

The Maintenance Director will oversee the daily operations of the Maintenance Department, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment within the facility, while also managing maintenance staff and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Department.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
• Maintain the facility environment in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
• Plan and carry out programs for repair, new construction, and equipment installation.
• Control and track direct spending and labor budgets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in maintenance operations including boilers, compressors, generators, and various mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Licensed in accordance with applicable standards and labor laws.
