About the position

The Director of Maintenance at Jonesboro NRC LLC is responsible for overseeing the maintenance staff and ensuring the upkeep of the facility, grounds, and equipment. This role involves planning, developing, and implementing maintenance programs while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and resident care policies. The Director will work closely with the Executive Director and interdisciplinary teams to maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the activities of the maintenance staff.
• Ensure the upkeep of the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Provide a safe, clean environment for residents in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures.
• Act as an active member of the interdisciplinary team under the direction of the Executive Director.
• Develop and maintain written maintenance procedures.
• Direct and supervise the maintenance department staff.
• Verify that the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.
• Maintain the facility's fire and safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with lockout/tagout procedures.
• Verify that facility equipment complies with state regulations.

Requirements

• Experience in maintenance management or a related field.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations.
• Ability to develop and implement maintenance procedures.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in a healthcare or residential facility setting.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and quality assurance requirements.
