About the position

The Maintenance Electrician role at Aerotek involves ensuring the safety and functionality of production equipment and plant facilities. The position requires immediate repairs, implementation of preventative maintenance schedules, and effective troubleshooting of various industrial machines. The electrician will also maintain cleanliness in the work area and must be comfortable working in a loud and dusty environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect production equipment and plant facilities to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform the duties of Maintenance Mechanic in a safe manner.
• Immediately repair all production equipment as required.
• Implement and execute Preventative Maintenance Schedules.
• Perform troubleshooting, breakdown repairs, and preventative and predictive reporting of maintenance work performed.
• Complete work orders, accurate time tracking, and parts consumption reports.
• Maintain general cleanliness and tidiness of the work area(s).

Requirements

• Around 2 years of working with a range of voltage from 480v to low voltage of 24v.
• Around 2 years of reading and understanding the flow of blueprints.
• Troubleshooting experience.
• Around 2 years of industrial experience with stamping machines, brake presses, and CNC machines.
• Around 2 years of schematic use.
• Knowledge of sensors, bearings, gear boxes, chains, sprockets, pneumatics, basic fasteners and applications.
• Experience with power tools like cut off wheels.
• Possess basic electrician tools like a multi-meter, electrical PPE, torque wrenches.
