As our Maintenance Electrician, you'll maintain the equipment in Kellogg Company's state-of-the-art facility in Omaha, NE. Responsibilities

  • Maintaining Equipment and Amplifying Skills - Alternate between troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and on-the-spot machine repair. You will need a firm focus and understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLC's).
  • Analyzing Conditions and Providing Solutions - Identify and examine production equipment failures to understand root cause analysis, with the help of interpreting schematics and drawings.
  • Prioritizing Innovation and Communication - Actively seek ways to improve plant efficiency and cost savings, maintaining an open dialogue with your lead and supervisor regarding day-to-day activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Electrical experience in an industrial, warehouse or DC setting
  • Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work second shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of behavior-based safety systems
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift and complete repetitive physical tasks throughout the day, including occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
