About the position
The technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of industrial manufacturing equipment. This includes diagnosing problems and repairing or replacing equipment as needed. The equipment involved will include multi-axis CNC controlled machine centers, welders, laser/plasma cutters, robots, cranes, electrical distribution, and all related equipment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose problems with industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Repair and/or replace equipment as needed.
- Maintain multi-axis CNC controlled machine centers.
- Service welders, laser/plasma cutters, and robots.
- Maintain cranes and electrical distribution systems.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in industrial electrical/electronic maintenance
- Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controls desired
- Basic understanding of PLC's and PLC programming
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and ladder logic
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems
