About the position

The Maintenance Technician role at Aerotek involves maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems within the facility. The technician will perform diagnostics, run conduit, service electrical panels, and work from blueprints and diagrams to ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics on machines.
• Run conduit and pull wire (minimal).
• Service electrical panels and breakers.
• Work from blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Troubleshoot all electrical and electronic breakdowns.
• Replace 3-phase motors, control panels, and gauges.
• Replace brushes and bearings for motors, tachometers, and generators.
• Install, replace, and repair microprocessors, programmable controllers, solid-state controls, temperature controls, motors, gauges, and control panels.
• Use electrical and electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, voltmeters, ammeters, meggers, digital meters, calibration apparatus, and laptop computers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; maintenance associates degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience required if no degree.
• No specific certifications required.
