About The Position
The Riverside County Department of Facilities Management is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to support the Cois Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta. This role involves performing journeyman level technical work in the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. The Maintenance Electrician will inspect and test electrical systems, diagnose faults, and perform necessary repairs, including re-wiring and replacement. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics. The role operates on a 9/80 schedule, Monday to Friday, with mandatory rotational on-call weekends.
