About the position

Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer Class 4 to join our team, focusing on CARE and Preventative Maintenance. This role is crucial in ensuring that our resort is well-maintained and reflects an image of outstanding quality. The Omni Frisco PGA Resort will provide north Texas with 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 new food and beverage outlets, an extravagant spa, and a full entertainment district. Featuring two championship 18-hole golf courses along with a third short course, we will provide incredible options for our guests and local community for dining, events, and entertainment. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance of guestrooms, following the preventive maintenance guidelines for the CARE or PRP program. Your work will ensure that all facilities are in excellent condition, contributing to the overall guest experience at our resort. In this role, you will be tasked with a variety of maintenance duties, including replacing light bulbs, thermostats, and hardware, as well as maintaining furniture, sliding glass doors, plumbing fixtures, and locks. You will also be responsible for painting, grouting, caulking, and tile replacement, along with maintaining carpeting, telephones, electrical devices, and drapes. Programming telephones and electronic locks, cleaning coils, and installing algae tabs are also part of your responsibilities. You will maintain guest room inventory and have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies. Additionally, you will assist other engineering staff as needed and maintain daily paperwork and logs. Knowledge and use of the Lockout/Tagout, HAZCOM, and Bloodborne Pathogen Programs are essential, as is ensuring that your work area is clean and clear of any obstructions that could hinder job performance.

Responsibilities

  • Reasonable requests of management as directed.
  • Ensure work area is clean and clear of standing water, debris or any objects that can obstruct the job duties from being performed safely, efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • Previous experience is desirable in hotel setting.
  • High school or equivalent education required.
  • Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.
  • Must have a flexible availability, to include mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
