About the position
We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The position involves a variety of maintenance tasks across multiple communities in the regional market. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on HVAC units, diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues, and assisting with technical repair orders. Additional responsibilities include repairing pool pumps and equipment, assisting with sparkler system repairs, monitoring the community for liability issues, and providing support to teammates with touchup painting and building detail.
Responsibilities
- Complete preventative maintenance on all assigned HVAC units as assigned
- Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment problems
- Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and appliance problems
- Assist in technical repair orders
- Repair pool pumps and equipment
- Assist in repair to sparkler systems when needed
- Monitor community for liability issues and immediately notify Manager of any concerns
- Assist teammates with touchup painting and building detail
Requirements
- HVAC-EPA certification required
- Experienced in cleaning coils, oiling motors, checking capacitors, checking Freon pressure, adding and reclaiming Freon
- Ability to replace and repair fan motors, Freon leaks, replace blower motors, repair and replace duct lines and replace entire condensing units and air handlers
- Experienced in plumbing installation and repairs
- Experienced in electrical installation and repairs
- Experienced in appliance repairs
