The Maintenance & Engineering Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance, equipment maintenance, and facility management.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control standards, implementing measures to enhance product quality and reliability.
  • Lead project management initiatives, coordinating with various departments to ensure project completion within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
  • Provide team leadership, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and system issues, implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Drive continuous improvement and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.

  • Manage performance, providing regular feedback and implementing performance improvement plans as needed.
  • Oversee supply chain management, ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of necessary materials and equipment.
  • Maintain electrical systems, ensuring their efficient and safe operation.
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives, aligning maintenance operations with organizational goals.
  • Program PLCs, ensuring optimal machine performance.

Requirements

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with CMMS, preventive maintenance, equipment maintenance, facility management, quality control, project management, budgeting, team leadership, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, process improvement, risk management, health and safety regulations, training and development, performance management, supply chain management, electrical systems, strategic planning, and PLC programming.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, healthcare manufacturing, agricultural manufacturing, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments is essential.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve operational issues.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to develop and manage budgets.
