About the position
We are seeking an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead and manage our tooling, facilities engineering, and maintenance functions, including injection molding machines, automation, dry offset printers, and ancillary equipment. This role involves developing and overseeing the annual capital budget, managing capital projects, and ensuring compliance with environmental and OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor engineering and maintenance teams.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability.
- Oversee capital project development and implementation.
- Ensure compliance with Quality System policies and safety regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Kaizen.
- Manage the engineering budget and achieve financial objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in a high-volume, process manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years in a managerial role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance systems is a plus.
- Experience in the plastics industry, particularly injection molding, is preferred.
