The Maintenance/Groundskeeper I position at Palo Verde College involves performing essential cleaning and minor maintenance work within the college's buildings and grounds. Additionally, the role involves setting up and arranging furniture for events, making semi-skilled repairs to buildings and fixtures, and performing groundskeeping tasks such as planting, cultivating, and caring for trees, shrubs, and lawns. The employee will operate various grounds maintenance equipment, including power mowers and trimmers, and may be required to lift heavy objects and work at heights when necessary. The Maintenance/Groundskeeper I will also assist with shipping and receiving college products and materials, fill out necessary paperwork, and cover for janitorial staff in their absence.
