About the position
The Maintenance Hourly position on the 3rd shift in Ennis, Texas, is responsible for providing direction to other mechanics and electricians while performing troubleshooting and maintenance tasks. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that maintenance operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
- Complete work orders as assigned.
- Work around raw food products safely.
- Assist and direct other mechanics and electricians as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Capable of working without direct supervision.
- Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, and bend as required.
- Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.
- Basic mechanical ability to perform maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work 5 to 7 days a week.
- Strong decision-making skills under pressure.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks in a changing work environment.
- Interpersonal skills for close collaboration with team members.
