About the position

The Maintenance Lead at Kraft Heinz is a technical leader responsible for overseeing maintenance operations within the plant. This role focuses on eliminating maintenance-related losses, enhancing team capabilities, and ensuring the effective execution of maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Lead is tasked with implementing and improving maintenance systems, managing defect handling, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead maintenance operations to eliminate breakdown-related losses.
  • Build capability in operating teams to achieve overall results.
  • Implement and continuously improve maintenance systems in assigned areas.
  • Ensure maintenance and repair work is completed safely and effectively.
  • Assist team members with technical issues and advanced problems.
  • Inspect work performed by team members and track resources used.
  • Work with all departments to meet plant safety goals and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Establish and improve maintenance planning and scheduling processes.
  • Scope maintenance work needed for repairs and preventive activities.
  • Develop cost and time estimates for planned maintenance work.
  • Purchase necessary parts and equipment for maintenance tasks.
  • Write maintenance procedures to promote defect-free work quality.
  • Participate as a key stakeholder in the TRIOS team targeting downtime and repairs.
  • Compile reports on work in progress, inventory levels, and production problems.
  • Connect with supervisors to assess progress and discuss changes.
  • Mentor and train technicians in the area.
  • Verify work orders are properly filled out and managed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year experience as a Maintenance Technician.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP for maintenance planning and scheduling.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and influence others.
  • Commitment to safety and quality orientation in all tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and HACCP standards.
