About the position

The Maintenance Manager-Aviation at Lennar is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the company's fleet of aircraft. This role involves managing inspections, coordinating with contractors, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, and maintaining operational readiness of the aircraft. The position emphasizes a commitment to quality, safety, and adherence to schedules, while also fostering a culture of growth and opportunity for associates.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparation for and accomplishment of airframe, engine, and avionics systems maintenance.
  • Oversee line service functions such as fueling, towing, and washing.
  • Coordinate with non-company personnel or Approved Maintenance Organizations performing maintenance on company aircraft.
  • Ensure complete records of all inspections, repairs, and component changes are accurately maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins affecting company aircraft.
  • Maintain operational readiness of the aircraft with minimal schedule impact.
  • Perform internal audits of tool calibration and material control.
  • Interface and communicate with clients, vendors, and internal departments regarding aircraft maintenance requirements.
  • Review and approve invoices generated for assigned aircraft and reconcile with vendors.

Requirements

  • Must hold and maintain FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (A&P).
  • Minimum of 10 years of inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of large category transport aircraft.
  • Experience in Bombardier airframes and related powerplants.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and task management skills.
  • Ability to communicate concisely and effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Adhere to pre-employment and random drug & alcohol screening.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic PC skills, including proficiency with Yardi, Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
  • Ten or more years of experience in aviation maintenance and management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience reviewing bids and preparing schedules.
  • Basic good judgment and high moral and ethical standards.
