About the position

The Maintenance Manager at OnTrac is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of facility equipment and supervising maintenance technicians. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe and efficient work environment, contributing to the company's operational success in the logistics sector. Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance of facility equipment and supervise maintenance technicians.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
• Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities based on priorities and personnel skills.
• Maintain all internal and external facilities and equipment, ensuring proper operations and safety compliance.
• Complete documentation related to machine and facility service, maintenance, and preventive maintenance.
• Respond promptly to facility and process issues affecting production operations.
• Maintain and purchase an adequate inventory of spare parts and materials for maintenance purposes.
• Implement maintenance projects and machinery installations as defined by management.
• Supervise janitorial staff and maintain building cleanliness.
• Troubleshoot facility IT hardware with assistance from helpdesk.
• Enforce proper usage of the company CMMS.

Requirements

• Three years of related experience and/or training in conveyor systems or equivalent education and experience.
• At least five years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical degree or certificate preferred, with knowledge of blueprints and schematics.
• Working knowledge of PC and CMMS systems.
• Good mechanical skills and leadership abilities.
