About the position

The Maintenance Manager at CF Industries is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the maintenance department at the Yazoo City Nitrogen Complex. This position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and effective performance, ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with company policies and government regulations. The Maintenance Manager will lead a team of approximately 75 personnel, manage the maintenance budget, and collaborate with site leadership to uphold CF's core values and promote a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Establish a strong leadership presence and promote a proactive positive EHS culture.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policy and government regulations, including OSHA's Process Safety Management Program.
• Work in partnership with the Site Leadership Team to promote CF Core Values and uphold strong moral and ethical standards.
• Ensure the Maintenance Department keeps the facility's assets in a safe and reliable condition.
• Collaborate with the site Management Team to prepare and administer the maintenance budget.
• Conduct reviews of applicable regulations and develop methods of compliance related to Mechanical Integrity and plant-wide safety.
• Manage, coach, and develop a competent team of approximately 75 maintenance personnel.
• Oversee maintenance planning team to ensure effective accounting procedures and preventive maintenance programs are implemented.
• Collaborate with other CF Industries manufacturing sites to share best practices for maintenance strategies.

Requirements

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to establish and articulate strategic and operating objectives.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing facility in maintenance or engineering roles.
• Experience managing a maintenance or engineering team during large-scale turnaround events.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or chemical engineering.
