Maintenance Manager

About the position

The Supply Chain Maintenance Manager will oversee maintenance activities within the Logistics center, ensuring timely completion of tasks in line with Supply Chain standards while minimizing costs. This role involves managing maintenance programs for various equipment, coordinating with operations to maintain service levels, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance and preventive maintenance programs for all electrical, mechanical, and energy-related equipment.
• Schedule maintenance, installation, and capital improvements in coordination with the logistics center Operations team.
• Manage the availability of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and janitorial services.
• Work with external contractors and suppliers for services not available within the maintenance department.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance and Engineering Support (MES) team to ensure consistency and adherence to SOPs.
• Document and prioritize work orders in the MP2 Maintenance system.
• Train and equip maintenance staff, developing their skills and technical knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA regulations and work with the JCP Health and Safety team.
• Participate in compliance programs related to hazardous material handling and waste recycling.
• Coordinate with engineering management and external suppliers for capital project bids.

Requirements

• College degree in Mechanical or Engineering fields preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in facility/equipment maintenance.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
