About the position

The Maintenance Manager at Sabre Industries is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team across multiple galvanizing locations, ensuring that all machinery and equipment operate at optimal levels. This role emphasizes preventive and predictive maintenance to support production targets and maintain safety compliance. The manager will coordinate with various departments, manage maintenance budgets, and promote a culture of safety within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the maintenance teams for all three Sabre Galvanizing locations, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Oversee the galvanizing process equipment, ensuring all machinery is maintained to meet production goals and safety standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical systems promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, optimize resource allocation, and track expenditures to maintain cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including OSHA guidelines.
  • Coordinate with other departments to plan and schedule maintenance without interrupting production.
  • Maintain accurate records through the CMMS to track equipment history, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Work closely with Operational leadership on the quoting, planning, and implementation process for a wide variety of projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Significant experience in industrial maintenance management within a manufacturing setting.
  • Deep knowledge of safety and equipment standards.
  • Proficiency in preventive and predictive maintenance approaches and techniques.
  • Proficient in Lean methodologies and tools.
  • Expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Skilled in budget management, resource allocation, and maintenance scheduling.
  • Thorough understanding of OSHA and other safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management, task prioritization, and cross-department coordination.
  • Excellent communication abilities to facilitate clear reporting and team instruction.
  • Proficiency with CMMS or similar maintenance management systems.
