About the position

The Maintenance Technician at CSL Seqirus plays a crucial role in managing the maintenance of aseptic Formulation/Filling, Packaging, and process equipment in a GMP environment. This position involves collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance with GMP guidelines, performing maintenance tasks, and supporting continuous improvement efforts within the maintenance program. The technician will work onsite in Holly Springs, NC, and report to the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Work with Quality, Engineering and Operations groups to ensure strict compliance with GMP guidelines.
• Maintain and perform corrective, preventative maintenance on process, aseptic Formulation/Filling, Packaging, and support equipment.
• Draft efficient maintenance job plans, procedures, and work instructions for equipment.
• Provide recommendations and edits for spare parts and PM procedures for equipment.
• Help route all required documentation for the submittal of spare parts and work orders.
• Support troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and optimizing equipment in other departments.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the site Maintenance Program.
• Respond to alarms in assigned area.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with all customers to minimize interruptions.
• Manage contract service providers and support contractors executing maintenance activities.
• Assist and mentor other technicians and associates when needed.
• Support start-up, commissioning and turnover of new systems in assigned area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent vocational or technical training; associate's degree in engineering, Physical or Biological Science preferred.
• 5 years' relevant experience in the Pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferred.
• Proficient with tools and software (CMMS, PAS, Pi, PLCs, ETOPS, SAP) required to resolve equipment and process issues.
