About the position
The Maintenance Mechanic II position is responsible for performing advanced maintenance activities, including troubleshooting and repairing major systems. This role requires a licensed or certified individual with the ability to read blueprints and technical manuals to effectively complete repairs. The mechanic will also provide on-call support for various shifts and perform ice and snow removal as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance activities including troubleshooting and repair of major systems.
- Read blueprints and technical manuals to interpret information for repairs.
- Provide on-call support for 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts as needed.
- Conduct ice and snow removal when required.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent education.
- Four or more years of experience in maintenance repairs and services or related fields.
- Valid Kansas driver's license with a clear driving record preferred.
