About the position
The Maintenance Technician II role at Aerotek involves supporting the Operations Maintenance team in the repair and maintenance of material handling equipment and pneumatic systems in a state-of-the-art automated distribution center. The position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and maintaining equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of material handling equipment such as conveyors.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
- Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
- Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment.
- Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts.
Requirements
- 1+ years of mechanical experience in an industrial environment.
- Recent and relevant mechanical experience within the last 2 years.
- Experience in troubleshooting, wiring, pneumatics, schematics, and reading blueprints.
- Open to working any 10-hour shift, including nights.
