About the position

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Mechanics to join our dynamic team in Libertyville, Illinois. This role involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs on various machinery, including injection molding machines, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position offers opportunities for professional growth and values expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on injection mold machinery and other shop equipment.
• Conduct inspections and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
• Support and maintain all company policies, including ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.
• Install and perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines and equipment such as closing machines and feeder bowls.
• Recondition used equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, automation, vision, and electrical systems on injection molding machines to ensure continuous production.
• Take out of service any machine or equipment that is deemed unsafe or that would further deteriorate with continued use.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Familiarity with automation and vision systems.
• Troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of injection molding machine functions and controls.
• Hydraulic experience.
• Preventative maintenance expertise.
• Basic welding and fabricating skills.
• High School Diploma required.
