About the position

The Maintenance Mechanic at Parker Aerospace is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of production manufacturing equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring the proper functioning of equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of manufacturing operations. Responsibilities

  • Install, repair and maintain production manufacturing equipment.
  • Inspect equipment for proper functioning and perform preventative maintenance duties, per manufacturer's specifications.
  • Diagnose basic equipment malfunctions and make repairs or adjustments efficiently.
  • Follow written instructions, sketches and documents.
  • Use hand and power tools as required.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.
  • Work under direct oversight.
  • Perform any other duties assigned to help drive to the organization's vision.

Requirements

  • Must have forklift certification and be proficient with moving large equipment.
  • Complete a formal training or apprenticeship program in a related field such as mechanical, facilities (carpentry, plumbing and HVAC), electrical, electronic, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems or have equivalent experience.
  • Requires general knowledge of codes and regulations related to equipment and facilities.
  • Knowledge of shop math and precision measuring equipment.

  • CNC experience
  • PLC (Program Logic Computer) experience
  • X-Ray experience
