About the position

The Maintenance Mechanic position at Kelly Services involves maintaining buildings and common areas, performing a variety of maintenance tasks including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs. The role is crucial for ensuring that production equipment operates efficiently and effectively, contributing to optimal output in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency, unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Possesses mechanical skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, plumbing and carpentry. Troubleshoots issues of all process and packaging machines.
• Coordinates and expedites other repair operations with production supervisor.
• Ensures equipment is running properly to achieve optimal output.
• Performs daily work orders.
• Conduct general maintenance procedures and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)

Requirements

• 3-5 years related experience in industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in food processing facilities.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Strong knowledge of electric schematic and process flow diagram
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
• Experience in welding preferred
• Willing to work on weekday nights or weekends if needed.
