Maintenance Mechanic

About the position

The Maintenance Mechanic position at Conagra Brands involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and production equipment at the Russellville, AR manufacturing plant. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of production processes and requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle all preventative maintenance.
• Perform repairs and troubleshooting on industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Work with systems such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, chillers, pneumatics, hydraulics, and other industrial productive equipment.
• Meet attendance requirements and work overtime as needed.
• Communicate using a radio and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Walk short distances as part of the job duties.
• Work within multiple disciplines of maintenance.
• Respond to sound alerts from equipment.

Requirements

• 1+ years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical drive/control systems relating to production and facilities equipment maintenance.
• Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Mechanical skills used to troubleshoot equipment are required.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• 2 years of basic computer experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent with at least 1 year of current work history in the past 4 months with no break.
• Ability to lift 50-80 pounds.
• Must be able to pass background and drug screen.
