About the position

Responsibilities

• Examine machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose sources of trouble.
• Dismantle or partly dismantle machines for repairs.
• Perform repairs using hand tools in scraping and fitting parts.
• Replace broken or defective parts with items from stock or order production of replacement parts.
• Prepare written specifications for major repairs or parts production.
• Reassemble machines and make necessary adjustments for operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Four years of journey-level experience in the maintenance mechanic field.
• Possess the tools of the trade.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Wear hard-toed safety shoes meeting ASTM F2413-05 standards.
