About the position
The Maintenance Millwright position involves performing comprehensive repair and precision maintenance on various machinery and equipment, including conveyors, compressors, and pumps. The role requires diagnosing issues, making recommendations for repairs, and executing critical adjustments with minimal supervision. The position also includes modifying and fabricating machine systems, ensuring all repairs are documented accurately in the company's CMMS program.
Responsibilities
- Perform all levels of repair and precision maintenance to conveyors, belting, compressors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and associated equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, providing recommendations for repairs.
- Make critical machine and system adjustments with minimal to no supervision.
- Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies.
- Modify and fabricate machine systems through welding, cutting, grinding, and bolting.
- Test and verify the correct operation of all repairs and adjustments.
- Accurately document repair and wrench time information in the company CMMS program.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge in millwright duties.
- Proficient in welding and fabrication techniques (ARC, MIG).
- Proficient in hydraulic/pneumatic principles and application.
- Experience in installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing machinery related to cargo handling.
