About the position
The Maintenance Person at Adientone India Private Limited is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial kitchen equipment and building systems. This role requires a strong background in HVAC, refrigeration, and general maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and complies with safety regulations. The position involves responding to work orders, conducting inspections, and assisting with various maintenance tasks under close supervision.
Responsibilities
- Respond to PM reactive work orders with knowledge to fix issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems, electrical systems, and HVAC.
- Assist with general maintenance tasks around the facility as needed.
- Monitor building system operations and performance under supervision.
- Utilize trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting.
- Complete maintenance and repair records as required.
- Review assigned work orders and estimate time and materials needed for repairs.
- Order necessary materials and supplies for maintenance tasks.
- Assist with installation and modification of building equipment systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, drains, and HVAC systems.
- Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain lighting systems throughout the facility, including cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs.
- Perform carpentry, furniture assembly, and locksmith tasks as needed.
- Respond quickly to emergency situations and summon additional assistance as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of related experience and/or training in commercial/industrial maintenance.
- EPA Refrigeration Certification and EPA Universal Certification required.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Experience with kitchen equipment such as coolers, freezers, ovens, and cook tops is a must.
- Basic analytical skills and ability to solve problems in standard situations.
- Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook and ability to use a personal computer for work order systems.
