About the position

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production through meticulous planning and scheduling of maintenance activities. This role involves overseeing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), collaborating with maintenance and engineering teams, and managing inventories and technical procedures to enhance production efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Oversee the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Technicians and Maintenance Supervision to organize and plan tasks effectively.
  • Write detailed technical procedures and manage equipment Bill of Materials (BOMs).
  • Coordinate with other Planners, Team Leaders, and partners across Operations, Winemaking, and Supply Chain to align on maintenance schedules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of maintenance administration or technical maintenance experience with industrial manufacturing machinery; OR a high school diploma plus 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders; comfortable working at heights.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record; must obtain a California driver's license within 30 days of hire.
  • Willingness to participate in 24-hour on-call shifts, swing and graveyard shifts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 4 years of technical maintenance experience.
  • Experience with SAP or other related CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical procedures or equipment manuals.
  • Experience in disassembling and reassembling malfunctioning equipment.
