The Maintenance Planner is responsible for screening work orders, identifying scope and performing analysis of required level of planning. This position interacts with other Maintenance personnel and reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. The role involves conducting field walk downs to identify and document job requirements, ensuring safety procedures are followed, estimating required hours for tasks, planning jobs with appropriate detail, procuring necessary equipment, and compiling information into job packages for skilled trades. The Maintenance Planner also coordinates with management to set job priorities and maintains the maintenance backlog.
