About the position

The Facility Operations Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining and operating MetLife Stadium, ensuring that the facility is well-maintained and provides an excellent experience for guests. This position involves overseeing preventative maintenance, managing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and supervising Facility Operations Associates. The role requires effective communication with various stakeholders and a commitment to high standards of customer service, particularly in relation to NFL teams and event management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining the stadium to the highest standards for guest entertainment.
  • Provide high-level customer service to NFL teams while maintaining neutrality and confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with management, ownership, and stakeholders.
  • Complete tasks necessary for day-to-day facility maintenance and event preparation.
  • Oversee the accuracy of the CMMS and ensure data consistency.
  • Implement and maintain an organized work order system for maintenance activities.
  • Administer web-based work order initiatives and educate staff on CMMS usage.
  • Track and manage departmental service agreements and contracts.
  • Schedule and coordinate contracted maintenance activities.
  • Maintain an organized purchasing and inventory management system.
  • Create routine maintenance reports to identify trends and improve efficiency.
  • Manage department SDS documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain departmental records and complete weekly payroll for staff.
  • Assist in event preparation and ensure the stadium is safe and presentable for events.
  • Liaise with the Special Events department for engineering needs during events.
  • Lead representative in the Command Center during major events, logging maintenance requests.
  • Participate in snow removal preparation and management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, but not required.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of related experience in Facility Management & Maintenance Planning.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience with CMMS or Incident Management System implementation.
  • Experience reading and understanding blueprints; CAD software experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory and database systems.
  • Strong communication, computer, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a customer-service oriented attitude.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Aware Manager, MicroMain, Maximo, or 24/7 Software for CMMS.
  • Experience in the operation of Computer Aided Design Software.
