We are currently seeking to add a Maintenance Prep team member to support and assist our maintenance team. The Maintenance staff are responsible for overall property maintenance and related mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other operational/functional systems. This role involves preparing vacant apartments and performing various maintenance tasks with good workmanship and in a timely manner. The Maintenance Prep team member will be expected to perform plumbing, electrical, painting, concrete, masonry, minor extermination, and carpentry work as needed. Additionally, the role includes repairing, replacing, or installing signage, glass, tile, carpet, cove base, fixtures, venetian blinds, locks, doorknobs, and hinges, among other tasks. The position also requires conducting inspections and managing turn inventory control, ensuring that all assigned maintenance projects are completed efficiently. The Maintenance Prep team member will assist in janitorial work by performing necessary "on-the-spot" corrections and reporting deficiencies in janitorial services. Other duties may be assigned as needed, making this a versatile role within the maintenance team.
