About the position

As the leading end-to-end investment platform for single-family rental homes (SFR), Roofstock's mission is to make real estate investing radically accessible, cost-effective, and simple. The Maintenance Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in this mission by serving as the project coordinator for all aspects of the turnover maintenance process. This position involves coordinating routine repairs with vendors and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed about the project timeline. The successful candidate will be empowered through training on proprietary software and will learn the intricacies of the property management business. The role requires a strong sense of project coordination skills and a positive attitude to maximize owner investments and provide residents with homes they love.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned turnover service requests from end-to-end, including creating scope of work and securing owner approval to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by attending to turnover service requests, vendor service calls, and messages within SLA guidelines and in compliance with company policy.
  • Manage all electronic record keeping related to repairs and maintenance, including internal communication, vendor communications, and resident damages.
  • Ensure non-covered items are completed by residents or billed back to residents.
  • Coordinate inter-departmentally to receive necessary approvals for turnover service requests and provide updates, serving as a resource for Property Management teams.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Previous property management, vendor management, and/or utility management experience preferred.
  • Technical proficiency including Google Applications, Microsoft Office Applications, and Slack preferred.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organization skills required.
  • Strong customer service, written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to meet timelines and adjust expectations preemptively.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to excellence and achieving goals.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
