About the position

The position involves assisting with property management for a commercial real estate company. The individual will serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and vendors, ensuring effective communication and management of property-related tasks. The role requires a personable and communicative individual who can handle various responsibilities related to property management, including compliance, reporting, and contractor management.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and vendors.
  • Respond to service calls and tenant requests.
  • Manage contractors and vendors working on the premises.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Prepare property condition reports.
  • Acquire quotes from contractors and collaborate with architects and engineers on tenant fit-outs and new construction.
  • Ensure workplace safety compliance at all locations.
  • Conduct regular tours of tenant/public areas, mechanical spaces, roofs, and building grounds.
  • Assist the accounting department with accounts payable and rent collection.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers, owners, tenants, and vendors to ensure work requests are understood and completed.

Requirements

  • Experience in property management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer-savvy with problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver's license.
