Responsibilities

• Make minor repairs to the interior/exterior of buildings and facilities.
• Maintain and repair small lawn mowers, appliances, chainsaws, pumps, cars, and tractors.
• Clean and replace filters on window air conditioners and simple central heating and air conditioning systems.
• Operate and check for safety and maintenance of small engines, lawn mowers, hand tools, pumps, chainsaws, and tractors.
• Perform basic road maintenance including clearing drainage and filling potholes.
• Make minor repairs to navigational locks and marine vessels.

Requirements

• One year of experience in building construction trades, building maintenance, or maintenance/repair of mechanical equipment.
• Training in building construction trades or maintenance can substitute for required experience.
