Requirements

• At least one year of maintenance or repair work experience.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and building management programs.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrics, and preventative maintenance procedures.
• CPO certification if the hotel has a pool.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with reporting tools like HotSos, Opera, Lutron, Bartech, or Inncom.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace items around the hotel and refurbish items in guest rooms.
• Organise supplies and ensure equipment is ready for the next day.
• Follow safety standards and report any incidents or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Take responsibility for the safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel, including the car park and pool.
• Monitor and follow the preventative maintenance calendar to keep everything working efficiently.
• Provide friendly assistance to guests and maintain a welcoming demeanor.
• Communicate with the supervisor about low running supplies and other needs.
• Be prepared to take on extra duties as required by the team.
